Let’s explore the beautiful landscapes and architecture of Vila de Sintra!

As you walk through the town centre, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the narrow streets and picturesque cob stone roads where Piriquita is a must stop, this is the oldest pastry shop in Sintra and dates all the way back to 1862 and home of the Travesseiros and Queijadas of Sintra, would be rude not to stop by and enjoy a sweet treat to sharpen our senses and get back to business. 

Now with our sugar levels topped up we will drive up the famous “old road”, which houses four of the various monuments that surround the Serra de Sintra, our magical mountain, where both architecture and nature combine so well that nearly feels like we are in a fairy tale. We will keep going up until we reach Palácio da Pena (Pena Palace) its charming gardens, lakes and vast variety of green elements make it worth visiting, of course.
